Vision and Life Belong to the Lord

Now there was a man named Saul who was a fierce challenge for the Christians of the time and his heart was focused on their destruction.  As he journeyed to the town of Damascus he saw the Lord. As a brilliant light shown about him  he fell to the ground in fear and the Lord challenged him in that moment asking him, why do you persecute Me? At that moment Saul  knew Jesus intimately and was transformed.

Acts 9:8
"Then Saul arose from the ground, and when his eyes were opened he saw no one. But they led him by the hand and brought him into Damascus.
       Acts 9:9
And he was three days without sight, and neither ate nor drank."

So Saul lost His sight after he saw the Lord but not for long for God is merciful and had a plan for him that was above all he could ask or think.

Good morning friends and family! It is an awesome day today and a great day to be free in Jesus.
The morning brings us excellent news  as we see that our Christian sister
Mariam Yehya Ibrahim and her family has been set free and is safely residing in Italy. Praise the Lord!

Todays Challenge: Read Acts chapter 9 and continue praying for the lost and the persecuted to be set free in Jesus name...... and above all else LoveEachOther and trust in Jesus!

My prayer for us today is that we will lose our sight of the world and all it has to offer when we turn our eyes upon Jesus and then and only then will we be able to see clearly.

Do The Work of the Evangelist

Then Philip being full of the Holy Spirit went forward as the Spirit led him to a man from Ethiopia and saw him reading the scriptures and asked, do you know what your reading?

Acts 8:32
"The place of the scripture which he read was this, He was led as a sheep to the slaughter; and like a lamb dumb before his shearer, so opened he not his mouth:
Acts8:33

In his humiliation his judgment was taken away: and who shall declare his generation? for his life is taken from the earth."

Now the man asked Philip, of whom is the prophet speaking of?
Then Philip opened his mouth and preached Jesus to him.
The man was greatly moved and converted and baptized that same day.

Good morning friends and family!
Todays Challenge: Read Acts chapter 8 then go and do the work of the evangelist, to preach the kingdom of heaven come, to lay hands on the sick and share the gospel of Jesus Christ.

....and above all else LoveEachOther and trust in Jesus!

The Martyr

Act 7:55
"But he, being full of the Holy Spirit, gazed into heaven and saw the glory of God, and Jesus standing at the right hand of God,
 Act 7:56
and said, “Look! I see the heavens opened and the Son of Man standing at the right hand of God!”
 Act 7:57
Then they cried out with a loud voice, stopped their ears, and ran at him with one accord;"

Stephen, the first martyr, was stoned to death because of stopped ears, hardened hearts and an antichrist spirit.
As we hear the news from around the world it is obvious that the same spirit is alive and well as Christians and Jews are still being persecuted and martyred to this day.

Good morning friends and family. Todays Challenge: Read Acts chapter 7 and then join me in prayer for the persecuted. Would you?

...... above all else LoveEachOther and trust in Jesus!

Because He is Worthy!

Acts 5:42
And daily in the temple, and in every house, they did not cease teaching and preaching Jesus as the Christ.

There is so much wisdom to gain from this chapter. Ranging from the dangers of deceiving the Holy Spirit and holding back from God; to faith healing and signs and wonders being worked through the faithful and shadow power in Jesus name; to the men of God being cast into prison only to be freed by an angel of the Lord and sent back out to preach the gospel in the town square, then being detained again to stand in the breach for the witness of Jesus under the threat of death and finally saved by words of wisdom from a respected official.

So the plot thickens and the word of God is spoken even under the threat of blood.

Why? .........Because, He is worthy!

Todays Challenge: Read Acts chapter 5 and continue to share your testimony with anyone who will listen. If you don't have a testimony yet then I would challenge you to ask the Lord to be Lord of your life and invite Him into your heat. God bless you and keep you.

.... and above all else LoveEachOther and trust in Jesus!
