The Love of God

The love of God is overwhelming! It goes to height's and width's and depth's that we can't even imagine!
These lyrics tho, may help us to see a little clearer.

"The love of God is greater far
Than tongue or pen can ever tell;
It goes beyond the highest star,
and reaches to the lowest hell;
The guilty pair, bowed down with care,
God gave His Son to win; His erring child He reconciled,
And pardoned from his sin.

Could we with ink the oceans fill,
And were the skies of parchment made,
Were every stalk on earth a quill,
And every man a scribe by trade,

To write the love of God above
Would drain the oceans dry.
Nor could the scroll contain the whole,
Though stretched from sky to sky."

Yes, That about says it all!
Have a great day and God bless you all.

Remember how greatly you are loved and then LoveEachOther and trust in Jesus :)

Did You Resceive The Spirit?

19:1 And it happened, while Apollos was at Corinth, that Paul, having passed through the upper regions, came to Ephesus. And finding some disciples

2 he said to them, "Did you receive the Holy Spirit when you believed?"

So they said to him, "We have not so much as heard whether there is a Holy Spirit."

3 And he said to them, "Into what then were you baptized?"
So they said, "Into John’s baptism."

4 Then Paul said, "John indeed baptized with a baptism of repentance, saying to the people that they should believe on Him who would come after him, that is, on Christ Jesus."

5 When they heard this, they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus. 6 And when Paul had laid hands on them, the Holy Spirit came upon them, and they spoke with tongues and prophesied.

Good morning friends and family!

Todays Challenge: Read Acts chapter 19, then test yourself and see if you have been changed by the power of God, to see if indeed you have resceived the Holy Spirit.

Some will say that the true result will be to speak in what is called tongues, the type that they speak of is to speak as if to babble. This is due to miss guided messages being aloud to carry on through generations for lack of better understanding.

The true result is that you will pray or speak out, by the spirit of adoption, calling out to God as Abba - Father and confess that Jesus Christ is Lord. This is the tongue of the redeemed. Please don't be missled. The unknown tongue that others speak of is a gift of the Spirit allowing us to speak or pray with a heavenly language, but not all have this gift and that is totally OK! OK?

The other result is that you will have a desire and an understanding to see others saved as well.
I think that Charles Spurgen said it best when He stated," Do you not have a desire to see others saved then you are not saved yourself, believe that"! ...

The Holy Spirit is the difference. He is the one who brings us to gether with the Father, He's the connection . The one who connect's our spirit with the spirit of God, and in order to connect with the Spirit we must repent of all that is sin and ask the Lord to fill us with His Spirit. Jesus said that the time will come and now is that all who worship the Lord will worship Him in Spirit and in truth. So come to Him in truth of all that is inside you, confess your sins to Him and follow Him with all your heart, In Jesus name!

The Divine Appointment

Acts 17:24-31New King James Version (NKJV)
24 “God, who made the world and everything in it, since He is Lord of heaven and earth, does not dwell in temples made with hands.
25 Nor is He worshiped with men’s hands, as though He needed anything, since He gives to all life, breath, and all things.
26 And He has made from one blood[a] every nation of men to dwell on all the face of the earth, and has determined their preappointed times and the boundaries of their dwellings,
 27 so that they should seek the Lord, in the hope that they might grope for Him and find Him, though He is not far from each one of us;
28 for in Him we live and move and have our being, as also some of your own poets have said, ‘For we are also His offspring.’
29 Therefore, since we are the offspring of God, we ought not to think that the Divine Nature is like gold or silver or stone, something shaped by art and man’s devising.
30 Truly, these times of ignorance God overlooked, but now commands all men everywhere to repent,
31 because He has appointed a day on which He will judge the world in righteousness by the Man whom He has ordained. He has given assurance of this to all by raising Him from the dead.”

Good morning friends and family! I hope the day finds you well and full of life.

Todays Challenge: Read Acts chapter 17 and consider the day of the divine appointment. A day in which the Lord has set aside to judge the world in righteousness. A day in which He has set aside to judge each of us. That day will come sooner for some than for others. It will be sealed for each of us at the time of our last breath. Do you know when that will be? One thing is certain it will be sooner than we expect!

Don't gamble with that day, the bible also says that know man can brag about his next breath. Here's some sound advise. Use your next breath to praise the Lord and ask Him to be the Lord of your life.... and above all else LoveEachOther and trust in Jesus.

Humn!

Act 15:8
"And God, which knows the hearts, bare them witness, giving them the Holy Ghost, even as he did unto us;"

Good morning friends and family! What is in your heart today? What do you find yourself continually thinking about? Or what is your tongue consistently speaking?
Out of the abundance of the heart the mouth will speak.

Todays Challenge: Read Acts 15 and then consider your ways....

Do you know that we will not only be judged according to our deeds but also our words and even our thoughts? Be sure to know that God tries the hearts and minds of men.

If you are full of wrong deeds, words and thoughts, let that be your warning flag that you need the Lord and ask Him to put a right spirit in you and that the God of salvation will bare you witness with the presence of the Holy Spirit....

Why Tribulation?

Acts 14:22

"strengthening the souls of the disciples, exhorting them to continue in the faith, and saying, “We must through many tribulations enter the kingdom of God."

I loved to see Paul in the 14th chapter of Acts, whom after preaching was beaten & stoned until the people thought that he was dead. Then drug out of the city only to rise up, after the brethren gathered around him praying fervently, and charged back in to preach again.

This hard nosed and fearless mentality can only be had through the power of the Holy Spirit.
The other surprising point to note is that these things happened after many miraculous works occurred by the grace of God but still the peoples hearts were hardened against the disciples.

Good morning friends and family! Today we find ourselves in the lap of luxury in the physical, but buffeted on every side in the spiritual. The funny thing is that I am greatly encouraged by these trials. This is how I know for certain that my efforts are not being done in vein because the enemy is trying everything in his power to stop the works of the Lord and hopefully you are experiencing the same.
So my prayers are that we may be granted the grace to endure every trial and look upon Him who went before us and said, "In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.”

Todays Challenge: Read Acts chapter 14 then go and find an opportunity to share the gospel with one person. I know that might seem a little intimidating but this is where the power of God comes in to play. If we want to see miracles we must learn to speak about the Creator of miracles.

Through every trouble remember this verse:

Psalms 34:19
Many are the afflictions of the righteous,
But the LORD delivers him out of them all.
