The Echo of National Confession

A National Confession

"Whereas, it is the duty of nations as well as of men to own their dependance upon the overruling power of God, to confess their sins and transgressions in humble sorrow yet with assured hope that genuine repentance will lead to mercy and pardon, and to recognize the sublime truth, announced in the holy scriptures and proven by all history; that those nations are blessed whose God is the Lord..."

" We have been the recipients of the choicest bounties of Heaven, We have been preserved these many years in peace and prosperity. We have grown in numbers, wealth and power as no other nation has ever grown. But we have forgotten God. We have forgotten the gracious Hand which preserved us in peace , and multiplied and enriched and strengthened us, and we have vainly imagined, in the deceitfulness of our hearts, that all of these blessings were produced by some superior wisdom and virtue of our own. "

" Intoxicated with unbroken success, we have become too self-sufficient to feel the necessity of redeeming and preserving grace, too proud to pray to the God that made us!"

" It behooves us then to humble ourselves before the offended Power, to confess our National Sins and to pray for clemency and forgiveness." ...... Abraham Lincoln, 1863, in declaring a national day of fasting, prayer and humiliation.

Oh how my heart longs to hear these words of the past spoken on every tongue through out our land. These words of truth still ring true and are louder today than ever before and will ring in the ears of all as the winds of change and judgement blow from sea to sea.

Even now a foreign flag waves over the Great House but none can see, nor will see, until their end is at hand.

As it was written ... Behold I will bring a nation against you from afar, says the Lord. It is a mighty nation, it is an ancient nation, a nation whose language you do not know, nor can you understand what they say.

Does this remind you of anyone?

As it was true for the house of Israel in the time before the carrying away to Babylon, so shall it be for this nation unless we will turn our hearts back to God.

Regardless of the guidance of our current National Leaders, we ALL must own up to our duty of dependance upon the overruling power of God

Let us take charge of our own hearts and declare to each other the need for a "DAILY" National Day of Prayer, Fasting, Humiliation and Confession before our Creator, with fear and trembling, yet with assured hope that genuine repentance will lead to mercy and pardon.

.....and above all else LoveEachOther and trust in Jesus.

A Cup OF Trembling

The Cup and the Stone are the Apple

       (pic from Google images)

The Lord has made Israel a cup of trembling and a burdensome stone because she is the apple of His eye.

Look upon Him who was pierced and be redeemed for it is the will of the Lord to bring His word to pass. The days are close upon us that were spoken of by Zechariah and all of the profits of G-d.

Repent! For The Kingdom of Heaven Is At Hand!

Zechariah 12

The Coming Deliverance of Judah

1."The burden of the word of the Lord against Israel.
Thus says the Lord, who stretches out the heavens,
lays the foundation of the earth, and forms the spirit of
                man within him:
“Behold, I will make Jerusalem a cup of drunkenness to all the surrounding peoples, when they lay siege against Judah and Jerusalem. And it shall happen in that day that I will make Jerusalem a very heavy stone for all peoples; all who would heave it away will surely be cut in pieces, though all nations of the earth are gathered against it. In that day,” says the Lord, “I will strike every horse with confusion, and its rider with madness; I will open My eyes on the house of Judah, and will strike every horse of the peoples with blindness. And the governors of Judah shall say in their heart, ‘The inhabitants of Jerusalem are my strength in the Lord of hosts, their God.’ In that day I will make the governors of Judah like a firepan in the woodpile, and like a fiery torch in the sheaves; they shall devour all the surrounding peoples on the right hand and on the left, but Jerusalem shall be inhabited again in her own place—Jerusalem.
The Lord will save the tents of Judah first, so that the glory of the house of David and the glory of the inhabitants of Jerusalem shall not become greater than that of Judah. 8 In that day the Lord will defend the inhabitants of Jerusalem; the one who is feeble among them in that day shall be like David, and the house of David shall be like God, like the Angel of the Lord before them. It shall be in that day that I will seek to destroy all the nations that come against Jerusalem.

Mourning for the Pierced One

10 “And I will pour on the house of David and on the inhabitants of Jerusalem the Spirit of grace and supplication; then they will look on Me whom they pierced. Yes, they will mourn for Him as one mourns for his only son, and grieve for Him as one grieves for a firstborn. 11 In that day there shall be a great mourning in Jerusalem, like the mourning at Hadad Rimmon in the plain of Megiddo.[b] 12 And the land shall mourn, every family by itself: the family of the house of David by itself, and their wives by themselves; the family of the house of Nathan by itself, and their wives by themselves; 13 the family of the house of Levi by itself, and their wives by themselves; the family of Shimei by itself, and their wives by themselves; 14 all the families that remain, every family by itself, and their wives by themselves."

Can You See?

Eyes be opened to the truth. The nation of Israel is continually in the headlines, and all of the world is hoping for a truce between the nations of the middle east and Israel even if they could force it somehow. But their efforts are in vein and all who would force her will be crushed by her weight.

The only thing we can do is pray for the peace of Israel and aline ourselves with the Lord and His word, for all who call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

So let all who name the name of Jesus turn from sin, even the appearance of evil, and above all else.....LoveEachOther and trust in Jesus!!!

Shalom!
