Talk About Hell Fire And Brimstone Preaching

So the Lord was crucified, then He gave up His Spirit and died. His body was brought to the tomb and the disciples thought that He was being laid to rest. Of course you know the rest of the story, that He rose again, but what about in between that time. Where did He go when He died, do you know?

He went to Hell! So His suffering went beyond the flesh, the natural, moving to the super natural and His Spirit entered hell where the rebellious were being held until their day of judgment. The proof can be found in many places but lets look at 1 Peter.

1 Peter  3:18-22

Christ’s Suffering and Ours

18 "For Christ also suffered once for sins, the just for the unjust, that He might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh but made alive by the Spirit, 19 by whom also He went and preached to the spirits in prison (Hell), 20 who formerly were disobedient, when once the Divine longsuffering waited in the days of Noah, while the ark was being prepared, in which a few, that is, eight souls, were saved through water. 21 There is also an antitype which now saves us—baptism( the symbolism of  repentance) (not the removal of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward God), through the resurrection of Jesus Christ, 22 who has gone into heaven and is at the right hand of God, angels and authorities and powers having been made subject to Him."

Whereby He delivered our sins and in His resurrection gained the victory over death and the grave and having authority over all now sits at the right hand of the God of Glory.

Praise the Lord! I don't know about you but this sounds like a real reason to shout because now we have one who sits with the creator who understands us from the cradle to the grave and beyond and I for one will hold onto Him with all my strength and I hope you will too.
The Love of G-d goes beyond the grave

Go with God and above all else LoveEachOther and trust in Jesus!

The Blood Moon

The Blood Moon

Set in the heavens by the hand of the creator for a sign unto the world as a stark reminder of the blood that was spilt on our behalf.

The Passover, the blood of the lamb over the door post, the unleavened bread, the death angel , the judgment, the cross, the retribution, the faith, the saved and the damned. All of these working together as cogs within a wheel rolling forward to their final destination.  As a wheel within a wheel rolling to and fro, turning this way and that but going straight to their mark, making straight the way of the Lord & carrying the presence of G-d to the hearts and minds of men. Completely encompassing the full counsel of the Lord and bringing the whole of creation through the paths of time... past, present and future.

These are the workings of a divine , holy and sovereign G-d who has made a way when there was no way, to redeem the lost and condemned unto Himself because of His great love.

The Lord has spoken from heaven with these signs and wonders as He has told us He would do through His profits and disciples and now it is up to us to hear Him and open our hearts to Him, for He has promised, "all who put their trust in the Lord shall not be disappointed" and "all who call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved."

Today the Jews will celebrate the Passover which points to a time to repent from all that is sin and this is also the time Christians will celebrate the death and resurrection of our Lord Jesus the Christ who took the sins of many upon Himself and asks all who will believe to repent and trust in Him to deliver us blameless before the throne of God.

So the message is clear then. The blood moon of the Passover testifies to all the people of the earth:

"REPENT FOR THE KINGDOME OF HEAVEN IS AT HAND!"

Go with God and above all else.... LoveEachOther and trust in Yeshua, Jesus!

He Knows The Future

If You Knew?

If you knew the future what would you do? I mean if you knew with certainty that a trip to town would mean your last trip, would you still go?

I know of one man who knew His future and that His trip to town would be His last trip. He even told His friends in detail what would happen and still went willingly to fulfill His destiny.

Matthew 20:17-19

17 And Jesus going up to Jerusalem took the twelve disciples apart in the way, and said unto them,
18 Behold, we go up to Jerusalem; and the Son of man shall be betrayed unto the chief priests and unto the scribes, and they shall condemn him to death,
19 And shall deliver him to the Gentiles to mock, and to scourge, and to crucify him: and the third day he shall rise again.

This is the God that I serve. He knew that He would suffer an undeserving, horrible death, being innocent and still willfully chose to suffer and die on our behalf. This is the love of the true and living G-d who so loved the world that He sent His only begotten son to suffer and die for us, if we will only believe and follow Him.

Have you made Jesus Christ the Lord of your life? If not I encourage you to do it today! Then read your bible every day and follow Him........... and above all else LoveEachOther and trust in Jesus!
