All Liars Go To Heaven!

All Liars Go To Heaven! ....True or False?

Judge for yourself!

If I were given to lying often would that mean I am a born liar and nothing can be done about it? Or if I am continually struggling with lust of the flesh should I just say well I guess that's the way I am and God will have to accept me as such? Or if I have hatred for my neighbor shall I say I just have anger issues and go ahead and kill anyway? These things should not be and they are all transgression against Gods law.

The bible says in  Gal 5:19-25
"Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness,
Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations,
wrath, strife, seditions, heresies,
Envying's, murders, drunkenness, reveling, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God."

So the answer to the question is obviously:  FALSE. Unless the liar or other listed should repent and turn to Jesus. Which will bring forth the evidence of a fruitful life and the fruits are these.

"But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,
Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.
And they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts.
If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit."

If the Lord be against the manners of the flesh that war against the spirit then He will give us the strength to overcome the flesh and escape the second death, this is why we need a savior and if we will only call on His name in these temptations we will be delivered from this bondage and be saved from the wrath of God.

Please hear me my friend. Jesus said to all who would hear Him ... unless you repent you will perish. To repent is to turn from sin and call on Jesus continually. Please consider these words.

May God bless you and cause His face to shine upon you and keep you in His way..... above all else LoveEachOther and trust in Jesus.

Nothing Will Be Lost!

There is a story that I am reminded of this morning. It is about a group of fit and rugged soldiers, hardened by the battles of life, that for all they had tried to do to gain security in a strange land and with a people not their own, were rejected and forced to return home empty handed. Upon their returning they were horrified to find that while they were away an enemy had snuck in behind them only to steal away all they had. All of their riches, clothing, live stock, food and even their wives and children were gone and their homes destroyed.

After discovering their great loss these valiant men fell to their knees weeping & wailing until there was no strength left in them, so distraught that they threatened to kill their leader who they had felt miss led them and brought this trouble upon them.
Immediately, the leader called out to the Lord and began to seek His wisdom and guidance. Thankfully the Lord answered and told him to get up, take strength and pursue after the enemy and to over take him for the Lord promised that He would be with him and nothing would be lost.

So at the word of the Lord the men went and overcame their enemy and recovered all that was taken and as the Lord had promised nothing was lost. Needless to say the rejoicing was greater than their lament had previously been and all gave thanks unto the Lord and glorified their leader, David, who later became King of Israel.

Today I am encouraged by this story. In it I see the stead fast love of our Heavenly Father who is quick to rectify our losses in every situation. As diverse and different as each may be we can trust that nothing is lost with the Lord. He is in control of every situation and though it may seem that the enemy has succeeded in complete and total destruction of all we hold dear let us take a moment. A moment to remember that we don't have to grovel in the dust and mope around thinking all is lost until we just want to die, but rather let us call upon the name of the Lord. For His strength and blessing and believing that, as He was faithful with David, He is also faithful with all who will trust in Him. Then let us boldly go forward to face the enemy and take back what is ours.

Our future, our hope, our faith, our dignity, our families and our joy rely upon Him. Draw near and know that He is God of all. The one and only good and faithful God.

In His presence is victory no matter the crisis.

Be blessed and ............... above all else, LoveEachOther and trust in Jesus!

Remade

Do you feel like your just spinning around in circles?

It might mean that the Potter is remaking you on His wheel.
It's up to us to be willing and pliable in His hands. To be obedient to His word and to wait on His timing.

Be still and know that He loves to be involved in your building as He slowly, carefully and fearfully wills every part and contour of who you are. His hands made ready to shape the clay with the waters of compassion that allows the constant spinning through, away and back into His hands again and again. To gently guide and press you into that perfect vessel for His purpose.

God is the master potter and His creations are works of masterpiece.
Believe in Him..... and above all else LoveEachOther and trust in Jesus.

StRuGgLeS!

A Point To Ponder...
Do our struggles and burdens testify against us?

Jesus said in Mathew 11:28 "Come unto Me all who are struggling and burdened and I will give you rest".
After reading this passage today that question seemed to just leap from the page. How bad do things need to be until we finally get it? Would the ground crumble at our feet and still we make excuses?

Oh how troubled our paths do make
When God's ways we do forsake
To consider Him yet again
Will lead us away from sin
Then at our chapters close
Upon Him we may impose                                                       [pic from public domain]

He continues to tell us to take His yoke upon us and to learn from Him, for He is gentle and humble in heart, and we will find rest for our souls.
I can testify to this for certain. It's not that after I have come to the Lord that I have ceased to have troubles in fact they seemed to increase but now I have a friend that helps me through each one and He sticks closer than a brother when before I had no one.

Try the Lord and see that He is good.... and above all else LoveEachOther and trust in Jesus.

The Time Is Now

The new theme song for my life... Be blessed!

It's All About Love

Something on my heart today about the word "Love" and I just have to share this with you.

"Love" Is Not: A cliché! ....Nor is it hard work or a challenge. It is not something that we should go in and out of like a swinging door, like falling in and out of "Love" then looking for a way out thereby making it an excuse for an abuse.

Love is not a feeling.

It's important to understand that we should not just throw this word around loosely, this is the most powerful word that we have.
This word is the word that God created to describe His affections for His creation when it was written that God so "Loved" the world that He gave His Son.

Love is the power that He gives us to transform fear into confidence, when He says that "PERFECT LOVE" casts out all fear.

Love is the power that He uses to bring us to the place of understanding of His compassion when He said that no greater "LOVE" has any man than this than when he lays down his life for his friends and then took are punishment for us to the cross.

Love is the word that God has used to show His attributes as when it was written in the Love chapter of 1Corinthians 13:4-8 where it says that
Love is patient, but more than that it suffers long, Love is kind, is not jealous, puffed up and won't boast, it ain't misbehaven, doesn't want it's own way, keeps no track of wrongs and is not demanding. Love wont rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth. Love bears-believes-hopes & endures all things and it never fails.

Now this doesn't even scratch the surface of all that God is toward those who turn to Him. After He has sent His word and shows us His example of Love toward us and teaches us the true meaning of the word. He then turns and says that He will have mercy on those who will receive His LOVE (Jesus) and who will return that LOVE back toward Him and His creation. Finally He says to us to "Love" the Lord your God with all your heart and strength and "Love" your neighbor as yourself, and finally to even Love your enemies.

With God all things are possible.

Love and ALL of it's attributes are the evidence of the indwelling of the Holy Spirit of God within the penitent & humble heart.

Love is the result of a right spirit. The spirit of the way, the truth and the life.

Now let us go and love the Lord with all our heart for He is worthy and... above all else LoveEachOther and trust in Jesus!
