Happy Chanukah and Merry Christmas

                       Happy Chanukah, and Merry Christmas

Unto You Oh Israel, Isaiah prophesied and said, "For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counselor, The Mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace."

This Chanukah season as you light up your Chanukia's  and consider the miracle of the oil and light, remember to look back and consider the prophesy of Isaiah 9. For this reason is the "True" season of dedication. The season in which we celebrate the light that came into the world from the Father of lights to those who walk in the darkness for it was written in

Isaiah 9:2

2" The people that walked in darkness have seen a great light: they that dwell in the land of the shadow of death, upon them hath the light shined."

Even to the most humble did He come as it is written in

Luke 2:8-15

8 "And there were in the same country shepherds abiding in the field, keeping watch over their flock by night.
And, lo, the angel of the Lord came upon them, and the glory of the Lord shone round about them: and they were sore afraid.
10 And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people.
11 For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord.
12 And this shall be a sign unto you; Ye shall find the babe wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger.
13 And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God, and saying,
14 Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men.
15 And it came to pass, as the angels were gone away from them into heaven, the shepherds said one to another, Let us now go even unto Bethlehem, and see this thing which is come to pass, which the Lord hath made known unto us."

So in celebrating Chanukah, as you remember the power of God that was present with all of them that stood up against tyranny and the oppression of that great enemy and finally defeating them, also remember that there is a greater enemy still and the power of God still prevails, to deliver us from the enemies grasp and defeating him totally by the power of Gods chosen and anointed one, His Deliverer, His Messiah, His Christ and through Him alone. The one and only Yeshua, Jesus!

Happy Chanukah indeed and Marry Christmas, and may the true light shine from this day and forevermore in your hearts and may the Lord bless you and keep you and cause His face to shine upon you and may He give you peace in the name of the Prince of Peace ( I'll give you three guesses who that is). ........

........ above all else LoveEachOther and trust in Yeshua, Jesus! ........Amen!

Wait

Wait On The Lord

Psalm 62

" Truly my soul silently waits for God; From Him comes my salvation. He only is my rock and my salvation, He is my defense; I shall not be greatly moved.

How long will you attack a man? You shall be slain, all of you, like a leaning wall and a tottering fence. They only consult to cast him down from his high position, they delight in lies; they bless with their mouth, but they curse inwardly.

"My soul, wait silently for God alone, for my expectation is from Him. He only is my (our) rock and my (our) salvation; He is my (our) defense; I (we) shall not be moved. In God is my (our) salvation and my (our) glory; The rock of my (our) strength, and my (our) refuge, is in God.

Trust in Him at all times, you people; Pour out your heart before Him; God is a refuge for us. Surely men of low degree are a vapor, men of high degree are a lie; If they are weighed on the scales, they are all together lighter than vapor.

Do not trust in oppression or hope in robbery; If riches increase, do not set your heart on them.

God has spoken once, twice I have heard this: That power belongs to GOD. Also to you oh Lord belongs mercy; for you render to each one according to his work."

  ###########################################################################

I had a lot to say today about all that I am seeing on the news around the world and locally, but I thought it better to let the word of God speak instead. It's only a matter of time and then the Lord will rise up from His holy habitation and Oh what a terrible day that will be for the wicked. Please come to Lord before it is too late. Repent and put your trust in Him.

My prayer is that all will come unto repentance and none will perish.

Don't put your trust in vain things; In the power of man or money or your provisions. It will all turn to vapor and none of it can save you from the judge. But turn to Him who can save the body and the soul from destruction and.....

What If ? { With The Wise Guys }

What If ?

Ask The Wise Guys!

Meet...Takashi and Phil. The wise guys. These guys know stuff. Why they ponder over every little thing that there is to ponder. They're like Binky and the Brain only smarter and less animated. But these guys get to the bottom of stuff and they don't mess around.. Lets look in on them now as they are reading letter's from their fan male. Pondering the answers to life and Considering the wisdom of the ages.

Fan:  Dear Wise Guys, Boy sometimes life is tough. I feel like I am going through a slow churning meet grinder sprinkled with hot sauce. Any advise?

Wise Guys:  Dear Tough Life, We saw it written one time... "in life it does not matter how slow you go as long as you don't stop." Good luck with meet grinder!

       *********************************************************

Fan:  Dear Wise guys, I start my day early but I can't seem to get ahead. What should I do?

Wise Guys:  Dear Tough Luck, We see you must be living by adage that early bird gets worm. That is great saying, but only if you are bird. Better to sleep in than to get eaten. Plus you will feel better.

        **********************************************************

Fan:   Dear Wise Guys, I know that there are a lot of skeptics out there these days. Atheists, agnostics and vast numbers of other religions and gods. The world says, to think that there is only one way to find spiritual solace would be closed minded, self centered and down right intolerant. With the knowledge of all of these other religions and ways that seem to point to a god or an idea of a god, how can we know for certain which way is right?

Wise Guys:   When looking for a god wait until he introduces himself then you will know which one is true God. All others dead and have bad smell.

*****************************************************************

Fan:   Have you ever asked the question, "What if the bible really is true?"

Wise Guys:   Dear Truth Seeker, Yes! ... here is what we find. If bible not true and you follow it, you will live honorable life. If bible true and you don't follow it, get advise from "Meet Grinder Fan."  You soon be in same hot sauce.

Thanks for your time. God bless you and above all else....LoveEachOther and trust in Jesus!

A Prayer....I Have A Problem

                     (pic shared from http://www.bvcoc.com.au/purpose-of-prayer)

 “FATHER, I HAVE a problem.

It’s weighing heavy on me. It’s all I can think about, night and day. Before I bring it to you in prayer, I suppose I should pray for those who are less fortunate than me—those in this world who have hardly enough food for this day, and for those who don’t have a roof over their heads at night.

I also pray for families who have lost loved ones in sudden death, for parents whose children have leukemia, for the many people who are dying of brain tumors, for the hundreds of thousands who are laid waste with other terrible cancers, for people whose bodies have been suddenly shattered in car wrecks, for those who are lying in hospitals with agonizing burns over their bodies, whose faces have been burned beyond recognition.

I pray for people with emphysema, whose eyes fill with terror as they struggle for every breath merely to live, for those who are tormented beyond words by irrational fears, for the elderly who are wracked with the pains of aging, whose only ‘escape’ is death.

“I pray for people who are watching their loved ones fade before their eyes through the grief of Alzheimer’s disease, for the many thousands who are suffering the agony of AIDS, for those who are in such despair that they are contemplating suicide, for people who are tormented by the demons of alcoholism and drug addiction.

I pray for children who have been abandoned by their parents, for those who are sexually abused, for wives held in quiet despair, beaten and abused by cruel drunken husbands, for people whose minds have been destroyed by mental disorders, for those who have lost everything in floods, tornadoes, hurricanes, and earthquakes.

I pray for the blind, who never see the faces of the ones they love or the beauty of a sunrise, for those whose bodies are deformed by painful arthritis, for the many whose lives will be taken from them today by murderers, for those wasting away on their deathbeds in hospitals.

“Most of all, I cry out for the millions who don’t know the forgiveness that is in Jesus Christ . . . for those who in a moment of time will be swept into hell by the cold hand of death, and find to their utter horror the unspeakable vengeance of eternal fire. They will be eternally damned to everlasting punishment. O God, I pray for them.

“ That's Strange. I can’t seem to remember what my problem was.

In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen.”

Thankful?  You bet I am!

Let's join hands and hearts together and pray this prayer as one today as we go and visit those who make us thankful.

Happy Thanksgiving friends and family, God bless you all and above all else......... ..................   LoveEachOther and trust in Jesus!

The Adversary

My devotions today bring me to Mathew 5:25,  It reads,

"Agree with your adversary quickly, while you are in the way with him; lest at any time the adversary deliver you to the judge, and the judge deliver you to the officer, and you be cast into prison."

As I look at the commentary on this verse the theologians state that Jesus was speaking about them who are at odds with each other. An adversary or opponent at the law which disagrees with you and that it is better to be reconciled to him.

They go on to say that Jesus urges that it is better to go out of our way to avoid legal conflicts before human judges. They also go on to say that the payment of debt and the prison referred to here simply mean the normal legal process that one would encounter in a civil suit.

Some sound advice for certain, but what if there is more meaning to it than that? I mean doesn't it seem that there is also a spiritual application here. Lets look at it in that light for a moment.

First we must break it down bit by bit, " Agree with your adversary  quickly"  I think that this first part is what throws us off and makes us think that it must apply solely to literal translation, as in the human courts. Because after all wouldn't the adversary in the spiritual essence mean the devil? And if it is, then there is no way that the Lord would tell us to agree with our adversary (the devil) quickly! Right? But that is to only assume that we are righteous, and if we are righteous than our enemy, clearly,  is the devil. But the Lord also tells us that non are righteous, no, not one!

So, what then?

If we are then on the side of the unrighteous, while still in our sins, who does that make our adversary, our opponent, our enemy?  It is the Lord! Then and only then does this verse make total sense, and the warning that the Lord is giving is really to all who are against Him, and His advise is to agree with Him quickly, while we still live and are in the way with Him and still have a chance before it is too late. Then, if not, after death we will be delivered up to the judge who is God and then be given to the officers, the angels, and then cast into prison or Hell.

Oh Yes, that is the true meaning and it fits well for the day! We have the opportunity to come to the Father, even now, and confess our sins to Him and to agree with our adversary the Lord, who stands against sin and the works of the devil for it was this reason that He came into the world, to destroy the work of the enemies of God and in Him do we have hope, if we will only come to Him and ask Him to be the Lord of our life and then we may truly live and above all else LoveEachOther and trust in Jesus!

Do It Quickly! Won't you?

Before it's too late!

I know you say that I am not against Him, I believe in Him. Let me ask you this then; Does the evidence in your life support that? Are you a reflection of the spirit of love, or the spirit of rebellion?

Jesus says that these are them who believe in me. Those who here my word and do it.

Be yee holy for He is holy and let all who name the name of Jesus turn from sin, for unless you repent you will perish, says the Lord!

May God bless you and keep you and may your name be written in the book of life, the book of the family of God, and may you be known as the friend of God.

L. A. Weems: Play To Win

Play To Win

Monday, the 17th of November, I was given the opportunity to help with concessions at the basketball game in Assembly Hall of Indiana University. This opportunity allows fund raising for the Special Olympics and they need all the volunteers they can get, so after twisting my arm I gave in ;).  My wife, Maria, and I are the swim coaches for the S.O. and have found it to be a great honor to be part of such a splendid organization.
All of the people, coaches and athletes alike are the nicest bunch of folks you'd ever want to meet.
(Pic credit goes to Sean Benham of flickr.com)

This particular Monday, though, turned out to be cold and snowy so the turn out was a little low,     but all in all it was still a great night.
This being the first time I had ever been in Assembly Hall made it a real treat and I secretly appreciated that we were slow due to the fact that this allowed me to take several breaks and watch the game. I have never really followed IU basketball but it looks like I had better start. The end also turned out well with IU pulling off the win against TX. :) Go Hoosiers!

As the night went on and I watched the game play out I couldn't help thinking back to my high school days and the time when our little Daleville High School was rising in the ranks, would give it all they had, with our varsity team winning the sectionals and the crowds going crazy! I think that I was on the JV team at the time, but I still remember the pride I felt when our little school won the prize. The air was electric and exhilarating to say the least. Nothing like Indiana Basketball.

"Play To Win! Play To Win!" The coaches would say," but keep it clean and don't foul out, I need you in there"! I over heard the head coach saying to one of our stare players.

Play to win, don't foul out,  I thought to myself as I faded back into the IU game still at hand.
Don't foul out! ........like ... don't get disqualified ....... Yes, yes that reminds me of something else....... .......a verse.
Where is that? .... Corinthians I think..... I'll check on that when I get home... Lord willing.

Ah! There it is.

1 Corinthians 9:24-27
24" Do you not know that those who run in a race all run, but one receives the prize? Run in such a way that you may obtain it. 25 And everyone who competes for the prize is temperate in all things. Now they do it to obtain a perishable crown, but we for an imperishable crown. 26 Therefore I run thus: not with uncertainty. Thus I fight: not as one who beats the air. 27 But I discipline my body and bring it into subjection, lest, when I have preached to others, I myself should become disqualified."

Boy, this, I know, is tough for the modern grace and no works message, looks like we have some work to do after all.

This is all about the continuing works of repentance. For remember the Lord tells us that unless we repent we will perish. That we are to enter into the fight; to play to win! Play to win with all of our heart, mind, soul and strength and the power of the Holy Spirit. To enter in and remain in a right relationship with the Lord and to judge ourselves in truth as we continue to die daily to the desires of the flesh. Again not by our own strength but by the Spirit of the Lord and obedience to His word and will.

It never ceases to amaze me how the Lord will use every day situations or memories from our past to bring us to a point and play out a scenario that shapes and molds us into that one that He wants us to be.
He who has started a good work in us will be faithful to complete it... Be sure of that and be open to His still small voice.

You'll know when it's Him and you'll be able to hear Him loud and clear even in the middle of a roaring Indiana basketball game... That's WOW Power!

Have a blessed day friends and family and above all else ....LoveEachOther and trust in Jesus!

P.S. Please, don't forget to "like" and "share" this short story if it has been a blessing to you at all.
Thanks and Shalom!

The Artist

A Short Story

The room thundered to life with heavy footsteps of purpose as the artist made his way to his canvas and easel, breaking the silence of the moment. A canvas of eternal breadth and height and depth stretched out before him.
A moment of pause, his pallet prepared with every color at the ready. He carefully chooses his instrument and begins to need the proper texture and colors together in just the right shade in order to present to the canvas that perfect hew and glow.
With a stroke of his hand he begins to lay the foundations. Two, three and four more applications bring the desired feel and resemblance of this, his inspired thought, to the surface.
With a step back, a side glance, a span of his hand and a nod of approval it begins. The creation of yet another masterpiece.
Time has no merit here. The process of his work is without tax.
His work has been splendid. An eternity of wisdom at his disposal as he orders his will to the canvas. With great hope and joy and fear the artist has wonderfully crafted his masterpiece to the absolute point of perfection.
Just a few more touches and it should be ready to be brought to life and order with the breath of his word.
Now then, a touch here and one more there and........

Suddenly the door is burst open with a start and a great cry of exasperation. FATHER! FATHER!

What is it my child? The artist asks.

I am troubled, says the child.

Well! What is this that troubles you so?

I have a splinter! See?

A smile slowly crosses the artists face as he lovingly tends to his child's great emergency.

Ah relief!
With great love the child hugs his father and cries out in thanksgiving and quickly goes back to his adventures as his father, the artist, kisses his head and sends him happily on his way.

The artist turns back to his work ..... now then, where was I? Oh yes!

What's the moral to this story?

It never ceases to amaze me how wonderful our Heavenly Father truly is. Do we really have a clue where we stand with Him? Can we even begin to understand His great love, or to even  know of this great privilege that we have been given, to approach the throne of grace, and not just to approach but to come boldly before Him.

We are reminded by the mysterious author of Hebrews as we look at
"Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need".

And again ...
"So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me."

This great privilege has been given only by the blood and sacrifice of our Lord and Savior Jesus the Christ and should not be taken lightly.
Isn't that good news?

This is your moment, this is your chance. Come to the Father, the Creator of heaven and earth, the great Artist, the Author and Finisher of our faith. The One and Only God.
Cry out to Him and ask Him to remove the splinter of sin from your life by the power of His Son.
Then read His word and follow Him.

........................and above all else LoveEachOther and trust in Jesus! ..........Amen? Amen!

Rest Area

Rest Area Ahead!

Oh how I love to see these signs when it's been a long journey. I'm sure you can relate if you have done any kind of traveling on our great highways, and sometimes in the nick of time.

This sign also reminds me of something else... a promise, a promise from the Lord that all who need rest will find it if we will only seek Him and ask.
Not only does He give us this promise He also puts it in writing. Cha Ching!

Mathew 11:28-30 " 28 Come unto me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you REST (Rest Area). 29 Take My yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and you will find rest  unto your souls (Rest Area) . 30 For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light."

A promise is great but a promise in writing is even greater.
Especially when it comes from the promise keeper.

Have a great day friends and family and don't forget to seek His face and ............

The Love of God

The love of God is overwhelming! It goes to height's and width's and depth's that we can't even imagine!
These lyrics tho, may help us to see a little clearer.

"The love of God is greater far
Than tongue or pen can ever tell;
It goes beyond the highest star,
and reaches to the lowest hell;
The guilty pair, bowed down with care,
God gave His Son to win; His erring child He reconciled,
And pardoned from his sin.

Could we with ink the oceans fill,
And were the skies of parchment made,
Were every stalk on earth a quill,
And every man a scribe by trade,

To write the love of God above
Would drain the oceans dry.
Nor could the scroll contain the whole,
Though stretched from sky to sky."

Yes, That about says it all!
Have a great day and God bless you all.

Remember how greatly you are loved and then LoveEachOther and trust in Jesus :)

Did You Resceive The Spirit?

19:1 And it happened, while Apollos was at Corinth, that Paul, having passed through the upper regions, came to Ephesus. And finding some disciples

2 he said to them, "Did you receive the Holy Spirit when you believed?"

So they said to him, "We have not so much as heard whether there is a Holy Spirit."

3 And he said to them, "Into what then were you baptized?"
So they said, "Into John’s baptism."

4 Then Paul said, "John indeed baptized with a baptism of repentance, saying to the people that they should believe on Him who would come after him, that is, on Christ Jesus."

5 When they heard this, they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus. 6 And when Paul had laid hands on them, the Holy Spirit came upon them, and they spoke with tongues and prophesied.

Good morning friends and family!

Todays Challenge: Read Acts chapter 19, then test yourself and see if you have been changed by the power of God, to see if indeed you have resceived the Holy Spirit.

Some will say that the true result will be to speak in what is called tongues, the type that they speak of is to speak as if to babble. This is due to miss guided messages being aloud to carry on through generations for lack of better understanding.

The true result is that you will pray or speak out, by the spirit of adoption, calling out to God as Abba - Father and confess that Jesus Christ is Lord. This is the tongue of the redeemed. Please don't be missled. The unknown tongue that others speak of is a gift of the Spirit allowing us to speak or pray with a heavenly language, but not all have this gift and that is totally OK! OK?

The other result is that you will have a desire and an understanding to see others saved as well.
I think that Charles Spurgen said it best when He stated," Do you not have a desire to see others saved then you are not saved yourself, believe that"! ...

The Holy Spirit is the difference. He is the one who brings us to gether with the Father, He's the connection . The one who connect's our spirit with the spirit of God, and in order to connect with the Spirit we must repent of all that is sin and ask the Lord to fill us with His Spirit. Jesus said that the time will come and now is that all who worship the Lord will worship Him in Spirit and in truth. So come to Him in truth of all that is inside you, confess your sins to Him and follow Him with all your heart, In Jesus name!
........and above all else LoveEachOther and trust in Jesus.

The Divine Appointment

Acts 17:24-31New King James Version (NKJV)
24 “God, who made the world and everything in it, since He is Lord of heaven and earth, does not dwell in temples made with hands.
25 Nor is He worshiped with men’s hands, as though He needed anything, since He gives to all life, breath, and all things.
26 And He has made from one blood[a] every nation of men to dwell on all the face of the earth, and has determined their preappointed times and the boundaries of their dwellings,
 27 so that they should seek the Lord, in the hope that they might grope for Him and find Him, though He is not far from each one of us;
28 for in Him we live and move and have our being, as also some of your own poets have said, ‘For we are also His offspring.’
29 Therefore, since we are the offspring of God, we ought not to think that the Divine Nature is like gold or silver or stone, something shaped by art and man’s devising.
30 Truly, these times of ignorance God overlooked, but now commands all men everywhere to repent,
31 because He has appointed a day on which He will judge the world in righteousness by the Man whom He has ordained. He has given assurance of this to all by raising Him from the dead.”

Good morning friends and family! I hope the day finds you well and full of life.

Todays Challenge: Read Acts chapter 17 and consider the day of the divine appointment. A day in which the Lord has set aside to judge the world in righteousness. A day in which He has set aside to judge each of us. That day will come sooner for some than for others. It will be sealed for each of us at the time of our last breath. Do you know when that will be? One thing is certain it will be sooner than we expect!

Don't gamble with that day, the bible also says that know man can brag about his next breath. Here's some sound advise. Use your next breath to praise the Lord and ask Him to be the Lord of your life.... and above all else LoveEachOther and trust in Jesus.

Humn!

Act 15:8
"And God, which knows the hearts, bare them witness, giving them the Holy Ghost, even as he did unto us;"

Good morning friends and family! What is in your heart today? What do you find yourself continually thinking about? Or what is your tongue consistently speaking?
Out of the abundance of the heart the mouth will speak.

Todays Challenge: Read Acts 15 and then consider your ways....

Do you know that we will not only be judged according to our deeds but also our words and even our thoughts? Be sure to know that God tries the hearts and minds of men.

If you are full of wrong deeds, words and thoughts, let that be your warning flag that you need the Lord and ask Him to put a right spirit in you and that the God of salvation will bare you witness with the presence of the Holy Spirit....

Why Tribulation?

Acts 14:22

"strengthening the souls of the disciples, exhorting them to continue in the faith, and saying, “We must through many tribulations enter the kingdom of God."

I loved to see Paul in the 14th chapter of Acts, whom after preaching was beaten & stoned until the people thought that he was dead. Then drug out of the city only to rise up, after the brethren gathered around him praying fervently, and charged back in to preach again.

This hard nosed and fearless mentality can only be had through the power of the Holy Spirit.
The other surprising point to note is that these things happened after many miraculous works occurred by the grace of God but still the peoples hearts were hardened against the disciples.

Good morning friends and family! Today we find ourselves in the lap of luxury in the physical, but buffeted on every side in the spiritual. The funny thing is that I am greatly encouraged by these trials. This is how I know for certain that my efforts are not being done in vein because the enemy is trying everything in his power to stop the works of the Lord and hopefully you are experiencing the same.
So my prayers are that we may be granted the grace to endure every trial and look upon Him who went before us and said, "In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.”

Todays Challenge: Read Acts chapter 14 then go and find an opportunity to share the gospel with one person. I know that might seem a little intimidating but this is where the power of God comes in to play. If we want to see miracles we must learn to speak about the Creator of miracles.

Through every trouble remember this verse:

Psalms 34:19
Many are the afflictions of the righteous,
But the LORD delivers him out of them all.

Vision and Life Belong to the Lord

Now there was a man named Saul who was a fierce challenge for the Christians of the time and his heart was focused on their destruction.  As he journeyed to the town of Damascus he saw the Lord. As a brilliant light shown about him  he fell to the ground in fear and the Lord challenged him in that moment asking him, why do you persecute Me? At that moment Saul  knew Jesus intimately and was transformed.

Acts 9:8
"Then Saul arose from the ground, and when his eyes were opened he saw no one. But they led him by the hand and brought him into Damascus.
       Acts 9:9
And he was three days without sight, and neither ate nor drank."

So Saul lost His sight after he saw the Lord but not for long for God is merciful and had a plan for him that was above all he could ask or think.

Good morning friends and family! It is an awesome day today and a great day to be free in Jesus.
The morning brings us excellent news  as we see that our Christian sister
Mariam Yehya Ibrahim and her family has been set free and is safely residing in Italy. Praise the Lord!

Todays Challenge: Read Acts chapter 9 and continue praying for the lost and the persecuted to be set free in Jesus name...... and above all else LoveEachOther and trust in Jesus!

My prayer for us today is that we will lose our sight of the world and all it has to offer when we turn our eyes upon Jesus and then and only then will we be able to see clearly.

Do The Work of the Evangelist

Then Philip being full of the Holy Spirit went forward as the Spirit led him to a man from Ethiopia and saw him reading the scriptures and asked, do you know what your reading?

Acts 8:32
"The place of the scripture which he read was this, He was led as a sheep to the slaughter; and like a lamb dumb before his shearer, so opened he not his mouth:
Acts8:33

In his humiliation his judgment was taken away: and who shall declare his generation? for his life is taken from the earth."

Now the man asked Philip, of whom is the prophet speaking of?
Then Philip opened his mouth and preached Jesus to him.
The man was greatly moved and converted and baptized that same day.

Good morning friends and family!
Todays Challenge: Read Acts chapter 8 then go and do the work of the evangelist, to preach the kingdom of heaven come, to lay hands on the sick and share the gospel of Jesus Christ.

The Martyr

Act 7:55
"But he, being full of the Holy Spirit, gazed into heaven and saw the glory of God, and Jesus standing at the right hand of God,
 Act 7:56
and said, “Look! I see the heavens opened and the Son of Man standing at the right hand of God!”
 Act 7:57
Then they cried out with a loud voice, stopped their ears, and ran at him with one accord;"

Stephen, the first martyr, was stoned to death because of stopped ears, hardened hearts and an antichrist spirit.
As we hear the news from around the world it is obvious that the same spirit is alive and well as Christians and Jews are still being persecuted and martyred to this day.

Good morning friends and family. Todays Challenge: Read Acts chapter 7 and then join me in prayer for the persecuted. Would you?

Because He is Worthy!

Acts 5:42
And daily in the temple, and in every house, they did not cease teaching and preaching Jesus as the Christ.

There is so much wisdom to gain from this chapter. Ranging from the dangers of deceiving the Holy Spirit and holding back from God; to faith healing and signs and wonders being worked through the faithful and shadow power in Jesus name; to the men of God being cast into prison only to be freed by an angel of the Lord and sent back out to preach the gospel in the town square, then being detained again to stand in the breach for the witness of Jesus under the threat of death and finally saved by words of wisdom from a respected official.

So the plot thickens and the word of God is spoken even under the threat of blood.

Why? .........Because, He is worthy!

Todays Challenge: Read Acts chapter 5 and continue to share your testimony with anyone who will listen. If you don't have a testimony yet then I would challenge you to ask the Lord to be Lord of your life and invite Him into your heat. God bless you and keep you.

Torah Portion June 28 2014 "Parsha Chukkas" - Decree

The Jewish Torah Portion this week, " Parsha Chukka" Meaning - Decree, seems to have incredible timing.
As last week we were informed that the Red Heifer had been found and was being sent to Israel to be prepared for the upcoming temple, and now the very next week sends us into Numbers chapter 19 where we see the decrees of the Lord regarding the preparing of the Red Heifer. Simply Incredible! And might I add that there is not a translation for the word coincidence in the Hebrew language.

We also see the importance of following Gods statutes, even in a simple command, and the consequence's of not following them. As in the example of Moses when God said that he should speak to the rock and instead hitting it kept Moses from entering into the promise land.
Again when Aaron was sent to the top of the mountain to end his priestly duties, stripped of his garments and died.

Again we come to another incident at Hormah when the people of Israel grew impatient against God and grumbled against Him and Moses, so God sent fiery serpents into there midst and killed many of them. Then God showed mercy unto them healing many after Moses created a brazen serpent on top of a pole telling the people to look upon it for their healing and afterword  destroying the thing so the people would not worship it as a god.

Finally we end up at the end of the portion with Israel pitching camp at the plains of Moab, beyond the Jordan just outside of Jericho.

Oh Yeah you know this is about to get really good!

The moral to this story is to heed the word of the Lord, at any cost for He is sovereign.
Our God truly reins! Amen? Amen! ... and above all else LoveEachOther and trust in Jesus. :)

Ever Feel Like Your Between A Rock and a Fuzzy Place?

Ever Feel Like Your Between A Rock and a Fuzzy Place? :/

There is a word being put on my heart tonight that I just have to share or I won't be able to sleep.

There is coming a day for each one of us that all choices will be arrested. The decisions that we have made will tell our story and we will stand and bear the judgment that will be passed and the consequence's, good or bad.
There will be wailing and gnashing of teeth.

Many people believe that they are Ok with everything in life so they should be Ok with everything after life too.
So I just have to ask. Are you sure? I mean really SURE?!
This is a legitimate question to ask yourself and should be asked every day. Here, this might help and give you hope.
I have a list of Saviors that will be able to help you on Judgment day.
Ready? Here goes #1) Jesus = Salvation ............That's it!

Out of all of the other gods that you may be able to name, and believe me if you could name them all we would be here for a very long time. Hinduism alone has over a million gods, but not one is worthy to stand before the Holy God of Israel.

Not believing won't help you either, that's like unbelieving yourself. Not gonna work for ya. The Lord said that He has placed the knowledge of Himself in each of us that NONE will have an excuse! ....OUCH!
If you would like to have a real relationship with the Lord then just ask Him and turn from sin. Sin is the very thing that will ultimately separate us from God or rather the love of it. Jesus says unless you repent you will perish.

Well that's all I have to say tonight. I hope this helped somebody out there and remember, above all else ........Repent, LoveEachOther and trust in Jesus! :)
The door is always open to anybody needing prayer just I. M. me ...Thanks and God bless you.

Good Night!

Hear The Voice of the Lord

Todays Challenge: Read John chapter 10

John 10:27- 28 " My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me.
28 And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of My hand."

Woo Glory To You Oh God! Glory to You! Be blessed friends and above all else LoveEachOther and trust in Jesus!

A PROPHECY! Strange Noises From Around the World Explained.

For two to three years we have heard reports from all over the world of unexplained sounds that seem to just come from outer space or heaven and I think the later is right. This has been a mystery to all of us until we look in the word of God. The scripture that we find in the book Jeremiah tells the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth, so help us God! ( Go on YouTube.com and check out the reports  "Strange Sounds Being Heard Around The World")

HEAR THIS, ESPECIALLY... THE SHEPHARDS OF THE FLOCK !

Repent For The Kingdom Of Heaven Is At Hand!

Jeremiah  25:30-38
“Therefore PROPHECY against them all these words, and say to them:

"The LORD will roar from on high,
And utter His voice from His holy habitation;
He will roar mightily against His fold.
He will give a shout, as those who tread the grapes,
Against all the inhabitants of the earth.

A noise will come to the ends of the earth—
For the LORD has a controversy with the nations;
He will plead His case with all flesh.
He will give those who are wicked to the sword,’ says the LORD.”

Thus says the LORD of hosts:
“Behold, disaster shall go forth
 From nation to nation,
And a great whirlwind shall be raised up
From the farthest parts of the earth.

Repent For The Kingdom Of Heaven Is At Hand!

“And at that day the slain of the LORD shall be from one end of the earth even to the other end of the earth. They shall not be lamented, or gathered, or buried; they shall become refuse on the ground.

“Wail, shepherds, and cry!
 Roll about in the ashes,
 You leaders of the flock!
 For the days of your slaughter and your dispersions are fulfilled;
You shall fall like a precious vessel.

And the shepherds will have no way to flee,
Nor the leaders of the flock to escape.

A voice of the cry of the shepherds,
And a wailing of the leaders to the flock will be heard.
For the LORD has plundered their pasture,

And the peaceful dwellings are cut down
Because of the fierce anger of the LORD.

He has left His lair like the lion;
For their land is desolate
Because of the fierceness of the Oppressor,
And because of His fierce anger.”

Repent For The Kingdom Of Heaven Is At Hand!

Has it been determined to come to pass? ....YES!
Is there anything we can do to stop it?... NO!
For thus says the Lord of  hosts; You Shall Certainly Drink of the cup of my indignation!

But there is hope and His name is Jesus Christ the Son of the living God, who's blood was shed on the cross for the sins of many and all who would believe on Him and call on His name.

What does it mean to believe?
These are they which believe, those who hear the word of the Lord and do it.
For it is not the hearers of the word which are blessed, but the doers.

Not to say that we are saved by works but that the works are evidence that we are saved UNTO good works in which is a law unto ourselves bearing witness of the presence of the Lord.

Keep yourselves unspotted from the world and it's lusts, even unto the death, through the power of the Holy Spirit and receive the crown of life. Or in other words.................
"Repent For The Kingdome Of Heaven Is At Hand!"

.....and above all else LoveEachOther and trust in Jesus!

Patty Cake Preaching Polutes The People

Friends and family, ordinarily I would say that today is a great day to head for a church of your choice and praise the Lord. But after intentionally attending many, many churches and finding few if any that are preaching the true gospel I must recant that previous statement.

Listen, This is a matter of life and death, heaven or hell and where your going to spend eternity and when it comes to standing before the Holy God of Israel on judgment day you better know that you are covered in the blood of the lamb, Jesus.
If your church isn't warning you of the current state of your future in the light of the scriptures, if your church isn't preaching repentance and teaching you to go to Jesus for your salvation, if your church is just patting you on the back and saying its ok to remain in your sin and letting you get away with being a poor little sinner saved by grace because after all nobodies perfect, or if your being taught to come to Jesus for a better lifestyle then RUN, RUN FOR YOUR LIFE! The patty cake prosperity message is polluting all people and taking them to hell on a high speed conveyor belt. And you can always tell who have swallowed the Kool-Aid because they will always proclaim they are FREE from the law and its bondage. I tell the truth, The only one free from the law is the one who is living in the righteousness of the savior not them who proclaim His name and remain in their sins.

This is not a joke and this is NOT something to play with and this is not something to join together in and sing kume-bi-yaw my lord kume-bi-yaw as we patty cake are way to the pits of destruction.
It makes me sick to my stomach to see this "friend of the world mentality". Shame on every preacher that will let their flock go to the way side so they can pad their pockets in blood money. It certainly grieves the Holy Spirit and it sickens me to the core and if it doesn't affect you in the same way then maybe it's time to check your own core values!

IT HAS BEEN PUT ON ME TO TELL YOU ALL TO WORK OUT YOUR SALVATION WITH FEAR AND TREMBELING. GOD DID NOT SEND HIS SON TO TAKE A VISCIOUS BEETING FOR OUR PUNISHMENT AND DIE FOR THE SINS OF THE WORLD SO WE COULD FEEL BETTER ABOUT KEEPING OUR PET SINS AROUND AND USE THE GRACE OF THE LORD FOR OCCASION'S OF THE FLESH.

GOD IS A RIGHTEOUS GOD AND HE IS A HOLY GOD, HE IS A SOVERGN GOD AND A CONSUMING FIRE AND YOU HAD BETTER KNOW THAT IT IS A FEARFUL THING TO FALL INTO THE HANDS OF THE LIVING   G  O  D!

WAKE UP PEOPLE, TURN FROM YOUR SIN AND GET PRAYED UP BECAUSE THE DAY OF THE LORD IS AT HAND!

Please understand that you can NOT earn your way to heaven, no matter how many holy prayers you do, no matter how many good dead's you have done, for it is not of works lest any man should boast and there is not one man on earth that can forgive you or even begin to grant you absolution for sin, the Lord say's that there is no other name under heaven by which man shall be saved and that none may come to the Father except through Him, Jesus.  NOT ONE IS RIGHTEOUS, says the Lord,  and Jesus is Not portrayed in any one man in particular, namely the Pope or anyone else.  He resides in every one who will turn from sin and receive the baptism of the Holy Spirit.
Salvation is a free gift and a humble heart shall not be despised and we are saved by grace through faith in Jesus.

If you believe in the lord Jesus then you shall be saved and the Lord says that these are them that believe, those who hear My word and DO IT!

This is your day. Repent (turn from SIN) and trust in Jesus and make Him Lord of your life today, for the first time in truth, and let all who will take the name of Jesus turn from sin forever.

Now he who the Son has set free is free indeed........ above all else LoveEachOther and trust in Jesus.

My Prayer for you all:  Heavenly Father please open the hearts and ears and minds of all that have read this word today and draw them, renew them and save them from the wrath to come. The wrath that you have appointed to fall upon sin where ever it is found and I pray that it not be found in any who I may call my friend or family and Father I pray that you would fill us with your Holy Spirit, baptize us Lord, that we may be remade and reborn to do your will even until you come. In the only name that is above every name, Jesus, I pray. Amen and Amen!

Repent America!

Hundred of thousands if not millions are gathering in Washington D.C. Protesting, Praying and pleading for America to repent. Join me in prayer today and every day that the word of truth will be preached, herd and headed in our nations capital and through out the land and to every heart in this land.

America if you will repent and turn to God then you will have a real chance of being healed and the judgment of the Lord will pass over this land. Sin is a reproach to any nation and America is not exempt from this truth. So let it start with our self and then we can be an example to all around us and lead all to the cross.

Let us humble ourselves and pray and turn from wickedness and seek the face of God and then and ONLY THEN will He hear our prayer, forgive our sin and heal our land....... Please hear this!...... I love this land and I love my people.... and it is the cry of my heart to see us become as the people of Nineveh in the days of Jonah when they headed the warning of Jonah and turned from their sin and their land was saved from destruction and delivered from the hands of their enemies.

Remember God! Remember the Constitution! Remember the Future!

We who believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, by the power of the Holy Spirit, are the one who stands for truth and rejects every false way. We are the difference. We are the exception. We are the bride and we prepare our garment of purity washed in the blood of the Lamb, that we may stand before the Holy One of Israel blameless, holy and acceptable...... We are the chosen and called! So let us act like it!

............above all else LoveEachOther and trust in Jesus and pray for our country and the peace of Israel!

'The Smiles of Heaven' Speech on Capitol Hill

This word should be on the lips of every preacher throughout America and it should be echoed over and over until it imbeds itself into the bedrock of the hardest heart and the deepest pit.

Hear this my friends and family! ...Hear this my people!... Hear this America!
Please Hear this word from God's man, in Jesus name I pray!

Don't Be So Simple Minded

Our path is made clear as we look into the word of truth. For His word is a light to our path. If any one should cause you to veer from the truth of the gospel this should be a red flag to us and they should be avoided. Even the broad way, which comes so close to the truth and looks so similar, leads to destruction. I am so grateful for the word we find in Romans today that can help us to make tough decisions. His word is true, trust that!

Rom 16:17
Now I beseech you, brethren, mark them which cause divisions and offences contrary to the doctrine which ye have learned; and avoid them.
Rom 16:18
For they that are such serve not our Lord Jesus Christ, but their own belly; and by good words and fair speeches deceive the hearts of the simple.
Rom 16:19
For your obedience is come abroad unto all men. I am glad therefore on your behalf: but yet I would have you wise unto that which is good, and simple concerning evil.
Rom 16:20
And the God of peace shall bruise Satan under your feet shortly. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you. Amen.
Be blessed and go the narrow way and above all else...... LoveEachOther and trust in Jesus. :)

Anger Issues?

Do you find yourself getting angry quickly and loosing your temper? Do you know that anger is an emotion that is God given?
It is God given, but it is to be used in an appropriate manner. This may help you be blessed as you read the word of the Lord and be set free in Jesus name.

Eph 4:26 says
" Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath:
Eph 4:27
Neither give place to the devil.
Eph 4:28
Let him that stole steal no more: but rather let him labor, working with his hands the thing which is good, that he may have to give to him that has a need.
Eph 4:29
Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers.
Eph 4:30
And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption.
Eph 4:31
Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamor, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice:
Eph 4:32
And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you."
Now above all else................ LoveEachOther and trust in Jesus!

Crafty lil Wolf

Eph. 4:13,14 "Till we all come into the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ: That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive".

It is good to know the stature and fullness of Christ. In His light it becomes easy to see them who will bring cunning craftiness to deceive.
Beware the wolf that wears the sheep's attire. You may know them by their growl.

James 1:20 For the wrath of men does not accomplish the righteousness of God.

Just a little something on my heart tonight and thought I would share.

What About The Martyrs?

More Prophecy Being Fulfilled!

My heart goes out to the persecuted believers around the  world this morning. Join me in prayer for them would you? That they be covered in the grace and mercy of the loving God who gives us strength to endure every trial. Who is able to deliver our soul from the grip of tyranny and cruelty and who is also able to glorify His name despite the pain and sorrow that is wrought by the hands of the wicked.
Let us not turn a blind eye to their suffering but consider their situation as if it would be our own family or even ourselves as they are our brothers and sisters in Christ.

Rev. 20:4 "And I saw thrones, and they that sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years".

This scenario of the future events in heaven from the book of the Revelation now have a historical reality on earth, the likes of which are being played out this very day and the two ends of this story are drawing closer together. The beheadings and tortures are occurring in mass quantities and in many different countries around the world. It is my hope to bring awareness to their or rather "our" situation and to keep us sober minded and to remember to ask ourselves "What About The Martyrs?"

It is a great thing to keep thinking positive and I am a true believer in "the power of life and death being in the tongue" but when we turn that into a name it claim it kind of gospel message then we are missing the mark by miles, talk about the broad way. Let us remember the verse in Rom 14:17  "For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Ghost". God is the provider in every situation and is able to give us above and beyond all that we can ask or think. That is to say that He will give righteousness, peace and joy in abundance- above and beyond all that we can ask or think as He also supplies are every need according to His riches in glory through Christ Jesus no matter the severity of our trials.

So many times I have heard people say that they were believing God for "certain material things" and that is all well and good, in fact I tried that one on myself until faced with the question.. "What About The Martyrs ?  But aren't even the wicked given these things in abundance. The trouble with this theology is if the bottom should fall out of our world we are at risk of loosing everything even our faith, but the thing that separates the true believer and the unbeliever is the covering of Godly righteousness, peace that surpasses all understanding and joy overflowing and even if the world crumbles at our feet we will not fear for we know that He is with us. These things, as we read their stories, the martyrs have even until the end.

So what about the martyrs then? They are the work of God unto His glory and are the thick cloud of witnesses for all of us to see that we can refrain from entering
into sin even under the threat of blood. If we will keep our minds on that fact then we will not be easily shaken for if God is for us then who shall we fear.

May the God who is able to keep you from falling give you righteousness, peace and joy in abundance and ......above all else LoveEachOther and trust in Jesus!

Christian And Catholics Embrace...WHAT?!

I am in awe after the message I just heard from those from the community of the charismatic faith and more specifically Kenneth Copland Ministries saying that the call of Unity with the Catholic Church should be embraced.
This, though it seems like a good thing from the outside, is a tragic turn away from biblical truth. It is the same as accepting all other faiths of the world and saying that to learn to coexist with every religion is good because it is the way of peace and tolerant love.

This is heresy and needs to be seen as a falling away from the true faith as is spoken of in prophecy (2 Thes 2:3-4)... saying that a great falling away is eminent before the Lord returns. The more that their ministry and others like it will convince people to turn from the truth and embrace this theology, the more will be lost to perdition and eternal judgment. I have also seen many embrace the theology and teachings of Rick Warren, who is pushing the acceptance mentality of the coexist theology with every religion, and I strongly urge you to understand that this is NOT the way of the Lord.

I do not wish to offend anyone today but it must be said that we do not worship the same god when there is prayer to men, statues, saints, Mary, priest or pope or any other deity or angels or beings of enlightenment or light other than the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob and the only way to heaven is through Jesus Christ and Him alone. Every other way is Idolatry and the bible clearly teaches that no Idolater shall enter into heaven. Even when we are reading from the same scriptures we can be talking about a different god altogether.

Idolatry is to create a god that you are comfortable with other than the true and living God.  If your god will allow you to go in a way that is contrary to the true scriptures then you have invented or followed a false god. If your god will let you remain in your sins and even encourage you to be yourself in them or allows you to pray or do works for your punishment to earn your penance , then you worship a false god or a figment of your imagination.

God will receive you as you are but He says that "He" will make you clean and justify you. It is a gift that is given because of His love, not because we deserve it or earned it.  He shows us in Eph 2:8-10 "For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that NOT of yourselves; for it is a GIFT of God, NOT OF WORKS lest any man should boast. For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works (THE WORKS OF GOD & FOR HIS PURPOSE), which God prepared beforehand that WE SHOULD WALK IN THEM.

Salvation can not be through your works but through the saving work of  His Christ on the cross. Good works (works of God) are only "evidence" of His saving grace and His hand prints on our lives and testifies that we are born again, Adopted and grafted in to the vine & being made a new creature in Him.

Please understand that I write this message in the spirit of love and only hope to point all to righteousness and truth, for when you know the truth, the truth (Jesus) will set you free. ............................ above all else LoveEachOther and trust in Jesus "ALONE"!

All Liars Go To Heaven!

All Liars Go To Heaven! ....True or False?

Judge for yourself!

If I were given to lying often would that mean I am a born liar and nothing can be done about it? Or if I am continually struggling with lust of the flesh should I just say well I guess that's the way I am and God will have to accept me as such? Or if I have hatred for my neighbor shall I say I just have anger issues and go ahead and kill anyway? These things should not be and they are all transgression against Gods law.

The bible says in  Gal 5:19-25
"Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness,
Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations,
wrath, strife, seditions, heresies,
Envying's, murders, drunkenness, reveling, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God."

So the answer to the question is obviously:  FALSE. Unless the liar or other listed should repent and turn to Jesus. Which will bring forth the evidence of a fruitful life and the fruits are these.

"But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,
Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.
And they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts.
If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit."

If the Lord be against the manners of the flesh that war against the spirit then He will give us the strength to overcome the flesh and escape the second death, this is why we need a savior and if we will only call on His name in these temptations we will be delivered from this bondage and be saved from the wrath of God.

Please hear me my friend. Jesus said to all who would hear Him ... unless you repent you will perish. To repent is to turn from sin and call on Jesus continually. Please consider these words.

May God bless you and cause His face to shine upon you and keep you in His way..... above all else LoveEachOther and trust in Jesus.
